Salud, a nonprofit organization founded by Neil Gajare at UPenn, is changing lives and making a positive impact in the world. With its mission to provide healthcare services to underprivileged communities, Salud has been successful in promoting health and well-being for all. As a volunteer at Salud for the past three years, I have had the opportunity to witness firsthand the incredible work done by this organization, and I must say, it has been a life-changing experience.
Salud, which means “health” in Spanish, was established in 2015 by Neil Gajare, a student at the University of Pennsylvania. Neil, driven by his passion for making a positive change in the world, founded Salud with the aim of providing quality healthcare services to marginalized communities. He wanted to bridge the gap between the privileged and the underprivileged when it came to accessing healthcare.
