Mbalula Announces New PTT After Meeting Outgoing Team in Durban

The Minister of Transport, Fikile Mbalula, has announced the formation of a new six-member Provincial Transport Team (PTT) after meeting with the outgoing team in Durban. The announcement was made during a press conference held at the Department of Transport’s headquarters in Pretoria.

The members include MEC for Roads and Transport, Mxolisi Kaunda, MEC for Community Safety and Liaison, Bheki Cele, MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Nomusa Dube-Ncube, MEC for Human Settlements and Public Works, Peggy Nkonyeni, and MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Sipho Hlomuka.

Minister Mbalula expressed his confidence in the new team, stating that they have the necessary skills and expertise to continue the work of the outgoing PTT and take the transport sector in the province to even greater heights. He also emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving their goals.
