Our annual list, in collaboration with Pride Cymru, recognizes the individuals who have made a significant impact in the LGBT+ community in Wales. These remarkable individuals have dedicated their time, energy, and passion towards promoting equality and acceptance for the LGBT+ community in our country.
Pride Cymru, a non-profit organization that aims to celebrate diversity and promote inclusivity, has been a vital partner in this endeavor. Together, we have scoured the nation to find the most deserving individuals who have gone above and beyond to make a positive change in the lives of the LGBT+ community.
It is with great pleasure that we present to you our annual list of the people who have made the biggest contribution to Wales’ LGBT+ community. These individuals have not only made a difference in their own lives, but also in the lives of many others. They have shown immense courage, resilience, and determination in the face of adversity, and have inspired us all with their unwavering commitment to promoting equality and acceptance.
Our first honoree is Sarah Jones, a transgender woman who has been a pioneer in the fight for transgender rights in Wales. Sarah has been a vocal advocate for transgender rights, speaking at events and rallies, and using her own personal experiences to educate and raise awareness. She has also been a key figure in lobbying for policy changes to protect the rights of transgender individuals in the workplace and in schools.
