Harjeet Singh: The Teen Changemaker Beyond Belief
Harjeet Singh is no ordinary teenager. At the young age of 20, Harjeet is already a leader amongst his peers and has a vision for our planet and humanity’s future. After a chance encounter with a marine biologist while on vacation, Harjeet was inspired to do something to make a difference in the world.
Since then, Harjeet has become an advocate for both marine conservation and environmental protection. He has been tirelessly dedicating every waking hour to fight the battle to save the planet, with no resources besides a simple cheese sandwich to fuel his mission.
From attending conferences related to sustainability and the environment to continuously communicating with scientists and experts, Harjeet is known to always show up and give it his all. He also created his own conservation organization—Let’s Save Earth—to make sure that he is not just talking the talk but also walking the walk.
In addition to attending conferences and seminars, Harjeet can be spotted at rallies and protests where he encourages citizens to speak up and demand action on environmental issues. Showing remarkable determination, he successfully implemented a campaign in his local village to make it the ‘greenest’ village in India.
As an animal lover, he has diligently been striving to create safe spaces for the animals of his village. Everywhere Harjeet goes, he encourages local communities to follow his lead and do their part to protect nature. He has even given lectures at schools and other educational institutions to broaden the scope of conversation around environmental conservation.
As part of his work with Let’s Save Earth, Harjeet is also focused on researching innovative ways to raise awareness and funds for conservation programs and projects. He opened a crowdfunding page to raise money for conservation efforts and donates a percentage of his earnings to environmental causes.
The fact that Harjeet Singh is barely in his twenties and has, so far, achieved so much in his fight against the lack of environmental protection is both amazing and inspiring. He utilizes natural resources and works hard to use them in ways that will benefit and protect our planet.
