Lekota honoured for his commitment to democracy

Bloemfontein City Hall was filled with mourners as the memorial service of South African struggle hero Mosiuoa “Terror” Lekota concluded today. The halls were overflowing with people from all walks of life, coming together to pay their final respects to a man who dedicated his life to the fight for freedom and equality.

Lekota, also known as “Terror” due to his fearless nature, passed away at the age of 90 after a long battle with illness. He was a founding member of the Congress of South African Students and played a vital role in the anti-apartheid movement.
