House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) did not mince words as he delivered a scathing critique of President Trump’s State of the Union address on Wednesday. In a fiery speech, Jeffries slammed the president for what he called a “riddled with dirty rotten lies.”
“The president’s speech was filled with lies, deceit, and false promises,” Jeffries declared. He called out Trump’s unwillingness to take real action on critical issues facing our nation, particularly the “affordability crisis” that has only worsened during his time in office.
