A national technical workshop held on 28 November signaled a major shift in Angola’s energy strategy, moving toward smarter and more efficient grid management. Participants explored practical tools such as load profiling, voltage management, transformer capacity planning and harmonized preventive maintenance routines. By coordinating provincial teams under a unified operational framework, Angola is building a more reliable and cost-effective distribution system. João Baptista Borges emphasized that efficiency strengthens service quality, reduces interruptions and protects future investments.
