More should be done to fight crime in the country: Buthelezi

IFP Deputy President Mzamo Buthelezi Speaks at MP Khethamabala Sithole’s Memorial Service

The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) Deputy President Mzamo Buthelezi delivered a heartfelt and inspiring speech at the memorial service of MP Khethamabala Sithole. The service was held on Friday, 23rd July 2021 at the Durban City Hall, where friends, family, colleagues, and political leaders gathered to pay their tributes to the late MP who tragically passed away on 17th July 2021.

In his speech, Buthelezi expressed his deep sorrow and condolences to Sithole’s family and friends. He was also a member of the IFP’s National Executive Committee and the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature. “Sithole was a valuable asset to our party and a role model to many. His leadership and unwavering commitment to the IFP will be greatly missed,” Buthelezi stated.

Buthelezi also acknowledged Sithole’s dedication to his constituency and the people of KwaZulu-Natal. He was a champion for social justice, tirelessly advocating for the rights of the marginalized and disadvantaged communities. “Sithole had a deep understanding of the challenges faced by our people, and he worked tirelessly to find solutions and bring about positive change,” Buthelezi added.

The Deputy President also took the opportunity to speak about the current state of politics in South Africa. He emphasized the need for unity and collaboration among political parties to address the pressing issues facing the country. “We must put aside our differences and work together for the betterment of our people. That is what Sithole would have wanted,” Buthelezi urged.

He also called for a renewed focus on service delivery and holding public servants accountable for their actions. “Sithole embodied the principles of good governance and always put the needs of the people above his own. We must honor his legacy by following in his footsteps,” Buthelezi emphasized.
