National Dialogue will address various issues of concern: Mashatile

Gauteng’s MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Lebogang Maile, recently took part in an engaging oral question and answer session at the National Council of Provinces.

The session, which was held on Tuesday, saw MEC Maile fielding questions from members of the council on a variety of issues related to his department’s mandate. This included topics such as service delivery, traditional leadership, and the state of municipalities in the province.

“We cannot do it alone, we need the support and cooperation of other government departments to ensure that our people receive the services they deserve,” MEC Maile stated.

“We are working closely with traditional leaders to strengthen their capacity and ensure that they are able to play a meaningful role in the development of their communities,” MEC Maile said.
