According to the Met Office's weather map, from 7pm light snow is forecast in the Vale of Glamorgan, and in parts of the border around Hay on Wye and Knighton. From around 9pm, it has light snow forecast across large parts of the country, from Welshpool and Newtown to Tregaron and Lampeter and across to Merthyr, Abergavenny and Monmouth.
